Flooding hits Horizon School Division offices during heavy rains
Heavy rains flooded Horizon School Division offices causing damaged supplies and boxes. Associate Superintendent John Rakai cited backed up water from ditches and a undersized culvert at 56th Street and 64th Avenue as key causes. The town expanded the nearby pond but the culvert remains a bottleneck, complicating drainage as crews pump and sandbag to protect facilities. The Disaster Recovery Program was notified and Taber may be listed for aid.
