The provincial health authority will assume governance and funding of ground ambulance services from municipalities by April 1, 2009. The plan allows the health board to own and operate ambulances or contract with existing providers, with full details to come by August. EMS will become essential and lose the right to strike.

Flexible Solutions to Build Taber Aspartic Acid Plant
