Milk jugs gain refund eligibility at Alberta depot
Alberta depots start refunding deposits on HDPE milk containers from June 1. Eligible items include two litre four litre jugs and milk products such as Yop with red deposit markings. Officials expect a small volume increase and urge rinsing containers before returning them to avoid odor and health concerns.
