Arts council hosts open house and safe cracking fundraiser
The Arts Council of Taber invites the public to a fundraising open house for its performing arts centre. Visitors can donate to take three minutes at an old court house safe with no known combination. The tour of the future theatre is at 50th Avenue and 48th Street in the former police station and library, with make up rooms and a scene shop on display. The event follows the Heritage Parade and runs until 4 p.m. featuring local acts and outdoor entertainment.
