Taber approves EPCOR deal for wastewater plant and upgrades
At a Jan 16 town council meeting Taber authorized Mayor Ray Bryant and administrator Gary Hudson to sign an EPCOR Water Services agreement for the Wastewater Treatment Plant and north storm capital projects. Construction begins early spring with completion expected by year end 2008 and upgrades to meet Alberta Environment standards including ultraviolet disinfection. The plant will be north of Taber Memorial Gardens and reuse parts of the old RBC facility.
