Calgary Taber drug ring cracked in joint operation
After eight months of work, Calgary and Taber police cracked a crack cocaine trafficking ring. Operation Krackdown, begun in May 2004, led to eight searches and 15 people charged with five Criminal Code and 16 Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences. Authorities cited links between Calgary and Taber crime groups.
