Taber Expenditure Report Shows Higher Per Capita Costs
The town trails and leads in several per capita metrics. In 2009 Taber’s expenses rose to 2532 while the average was 2006, with high costs in transportation and environment. Police wages push salary per capita to 883, and grants per capita reached 1424. Capita shares show 23 percent property tax revenue versus 31 percent average.
