Thrift shop gains three year tax exempt status in Taber
Town council unanimously approved tax exemption for MCC Thrift Shop at 5320 49th Avenue for the 2018 tax year. MCC Alberta coordinator Susan Reynar says the four Alberta thrift shops fund disaster relief, peace education, restorative justice, and immigration aid, with at least 50 percent of profits returned to MCC Alberta.
