Shields to retire from Bow River MP role in 2025
Bow River MP Martin Shields announces he will not seek re election in 2025 in a February letter. Since 2015 he has held the riding winning 77 percent in 2015 and about 84 percent in 2019. He served as mayor councillor and educator before politics and praised Alberta colleagues and local leaders while thanking family staff and the Bow River EDA.
