Recreation board approves 25 percent user fee rise
The four member board passed by 3-1 a recommendation to town council for a 25 percent increase in sports field fees for 2011 covering soccer baseball football and tennis. Coun. Rick Popadynetz opposed. Earlier motion by Luke Wilna failed 2-2 as chair Tim O'Donnell and Popadynetz voted against.

Trio convicted in rash of thefts from unlocked vehicles
In Tabor provincial court on November 30, Michael Karl, Jesse Melquist and Andrew Thomas pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property tied to a string of unlocked-vehicle thefts.
