Auction disappoints committee in Taber Christmas fundraiser
Taber and District Chamber of Commerce report cash for Christmas draw and a free auction at Cenotaph Park drew small crowds. Karla Collett says attendance was down, profits likely break even or slightly negative, affecting Communities in Bloom funding and future plans. The Town of Taber and BRZ funds remain uncertain, with sponsorships or new fundraisers possible.
