Repairs to cost 324000 for Taber storm sewage line
The storm sewage line north of Taber from the lagoon has collapsed in several spots. Fixing or replacing the line will cost 324000. The town may tie into a Rogers Sugar line to save money but it is too early to decide. Budget pressures push consideration of deferring debt and tax increases to 2004. The Aquafun final debt payment of 630432, including interest, weighs on council’s balance.
