ACC Choir to Perform in Taber Sunday for Peace Education
The African Children's Choir will perform at Taber Community Centre on Sunday April 11 at 6 p.m. The group, with a 25 year history of fundraising for education in Africa, tours North America including Alberta. Former member Tony Were now a chaperone and journalist recalls the program’s life changing impact and ongoing support for children in Kenya. Spectators at Taber Evangelical Mennonite Church will hear traditional songs and English classics.
