The Buffalo Plains Inn at Shoal Lake is getting extensive updates with new doors and windows for 15 units, plus new carpets and furniture.
Manitoba plans about 7 million dollars to boost pay for family doctors obstetricians and other physicians effective July 1998. A new visit fee for family practitioners and pediatricians will rise 20 percent over three years along with related increases for pre and post natal visits and palliative care counselling to improve access to care.
