Darlene Girlies of Neepawa received the Neepawa Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year honor for her volunteer work with ACT, the agricultural society, and palliative care.

Delta Colony plans an airstrip for commercial spraying on property just north of the CN line and adjacent to Highway No. S in the Rural Municipality of North Cypress. The project location targets farmland area with potential approval by local authorities and impacts on local traffic and air space.
The Assiniboine Regional Health Authority reports mold discovered during an investigation into water seepage at the Tiger Hills Treherne Personal Care Home. Manitoba Conservation seeks volunteers to test a new 10 stop survey design for the nomadic short-eared owl. Targeted routes would run three times yearly with electronic data submission required. Contact Jim Duncan for details and eligibility.
Baldur Manor notes sympathy for Kay Warren's family. Residents enjoyed Mariapolis Drama Club plays Some Thing Good and Fools Gold in Mariapolis-Murray Breldal with listed participants.
