Roblin appoints Larry Kines as postmaster succeeding his father and grandfather who served from 1920 to 1984. The post office addition includes about 400 new mail boxes and a major reconstruction.
The old Cayberry Health Care Facility and Fox Memorial Hospital were demolished last week as a 53 year old building was replaced by a new health care facility.
Tammy Mahon of Holland and a member of the University of Manitoba volleyball team, national champions, was selected for the National All-Star Team.

Moose seasons include fall and winter options with a new winter closure in GHA 30 to allow recovery. elk licences rise in Interlake with a new fall rifle season and expanded bag limits.
