The Donagh family donated curling memorabilia curated by Pat to the Souris Curling Club. The items are exhibited in a special case in the Kirkup Lounge for public viewing.

Industry minister Mihychuk announces a 225000 repayable loan from MIOP to Brandon based I NetLink Incorporated to expand wireless high speed service to 22 rural Manitoba communities. The project serves about 36000 households across Southwestern Manitoba with one to three Mbps residential and commercial speeds.
