Film caravan to show conservation films in Chetewind
The Canadian Forestry Association will bring a colour and sound film caravan to Chete wind from Wednesday to Saturday, showing conservation and fire prevention themes in a mobile theatre near the P.G.H. station with 7 and 8:30 PM screenings and a 3:30 PM Saturday showing. Tragic Wagon Collision Near Progress Abandons 2 Horses
A prairie schooner touring from Anaheim Lake toward Whitehorse collided with an automobile near Progress Saturday evening. Teamster Roddie Nappie, 16, suffered abrasions and shock, later treated at St Josephs Hospital after being trapped under a fallen horse. Four others had only bruises. one horse died and another was shot due to injuries. The party plans to remain at the Kart Highway site for the winter.
