Stampede Cavalcade Travel to Fort St John Stampede

The Fort St. John Stampede cavalcade left August 10 traveling the new cutoffs from Chetwynd to Taylor then to Fort St. John. The two hour drive to Teko and the 68 mile return took 24 hours with the road reported in good condition. They picnicked at Taylor on the banks of the Face River and a series of highway projects and a Kinsmen fish derby are noted along with local entries and schedules.
