Dance delights Minto crowd with old world gallantry
Last Saturday night brought a dance to Minto with gentlemen bowing to ladies and ladies curtsying. Organisers Hill Harris and Paddy Barrett kept the evening flowing, earning praise for a highly enjoyable event. A similar function is planned for next month and for future months.

Farewell to Mr and Mrs Nicholson of Campbelltown
A large gathering of townspeople and friends bid farewell to Mr and Mrs Nicholson and family who left Campbelltown last Tuesday. Forty attendees praised their friendship and hosted a gift presentation of perfume stockings and a fountain pen with cigars. The evening featured musical items and a supper prepared by local ladies.
Camden Stock Sales Record High Buyer Attendance
Large turnout of buyers attended the Camden stock sale last Tuesday with keen competition across stock types. Pigs and calves sold well with prices rising for fat cattle and milkers. Beef prices ranged with fat steers £16 to £19/15/6 and fat cows up to £17/2/6, while dairy and calved stock also showed strong demand and price levels.

Rain plagued travel to Robertson for Campbelltown A and Reserve in Group Six rugby. Despite poor conditions and gusty winds, Robertson’s forwards dominated the greasy field as Campbelltown pressed in their blue and gold, with penalties mounting in the early stages of the Reserve match.
