Anzac Service at Ingleburn Remembers the Forces
The Ingleburn Sub branch RSS and ALLA held an Anzac day service at the School of Arts on April 27 with Alderman Marlow and Mrs. Marlow in attendance. Padre Noble delivered a solemn address praising sacrifice and warning against unethical gains. the procession to the Cenotaph featured the Camden Campbelltown Band and Red Cross pupils.

May day event aims to raise funds for the Leumeah church building. Debutantes may send names to Mrs E M Clissold. A Friday Leumeah barbecue raised funds with Mr Jim Ver involved in cooking sausages. Proceeds support St Stall with a stall in Campbell on May 17 offering homemade jam and goods.

Death of Frederick G Morgan Revered Campbelltown Figure
Frederick George Morgan died April 30 in Campbelltown after years in Manly life abroad. A popular, cheerful figure despite osteomalitis from age 11 and a one legged sportsman. He served as librarian at Soldiers' Memorial School of Arts and married Madge Haddon in 1942 before moving to Manly. He leaves a wife two children and three sisters. Funeral was at St Peters Church Campbelltown with many old friends attending.
