Food for Britain Fund Meeting Details and Plans
At Campbelltown Council Chambers on 4 March the Food for Britain Appeals committee chaired by Rev. L. Anderson discussed £938 10s raised, progress in town donations, and calls for volunteers. A Gymkhana at Show Ground on 30 March was planned with Mr Sedewick and Kelly offering services, plus a Welcome Home Committee dance. A Mile of Pennies drive was proposed for 23 March starting 7.15 am.

Campbelltown Red Cross Street Stall Raises Funds
The Campbelltown Red Cross Branch held its first Street Stall of the year on Saturday morning March 2. It raised £25 15s 6d for the General Funds. Mrs H D Price and Mrs N Deane led the stall with help from branch ladies. Prizes included a bowl won by Mrs McMahon and a china dog won by Mr P Marlow, both donated by Mrs M King. An ice cake donated by Mrs A G Payten was won by Mrs Stoves.
