Mr Michael Lynch appointed by the Menangle Park Racing Company as an inspector over the Menangle Park Racecourse Pleasure and Picnic Grounds on all Sundays and public holidays to prevent persons from carrying pea rifles create a nuisance or be objectionable and he is vested with powers to prosecute. Ald Marlow moved at Tuesday night’s Council meeting to erect a standpipe on the Western side of Sydney Road between A R Payton’s home and the Old Mill at a cost of £10 to aid Leumeah residents. The location was left to the Works Committee while noting mains supply limitations. John B. Kirkwood of Fitzroy Falls, Moss Vale, a Metropolitan Milk Board candidate, will address Campbelltown electors at the Town Hall on Monday night, the 12th.
