Campbelltown weekly committee meetings draw strong attendance as planning begins for the 34th Annual Exhibition. Changes from last year aim to improve exhibitor experience and attract more patrons, with the Horse section listing 75 classes scheduled for the opening day after 4 30 p.m. em.
Camden District Hospital Board Nominees Approved
The State Ministry proposed five Government Nominees for the Camden District Cottage Hospital Board of Control and the Executive Council approved their appointment. Names include R A C Adams Evan A Davies E A Carruthers and P W Johnson. Also reported is the R A S of N S W Council meeting where Norman D Jones of Armatree was elected to fill a vacancy. Jones chairs the Shorthorn Society of Australia NSW branch and owns Armatree merino stock plus horse breeding and fodder conservation efforts.
