Memorial Hall Ball a Notable Social Event in Town Hall
The third annual Memorial Hall Ball drew fifty four couples and a large crowd, with Miss Kitt directing decorations in orange and canary and ivy. Miss Cloke’s orchestra provided music as Mrs O Connor and others aided the supper and service. takings totaled £28 2s 6d. A separate children's party drew about 150 attendees, taking in £14 at the door.

Oddfellows Gather at Bowral for Grand Chapter Meeting
Campbelltown Council Masters travel to Bowral on Tuesday evening for a crowded Chapter meeting followed by a monster banquet. Nearly 200 Oddfellows from 12 Southern G U O C F branches attend with sisters and juveniles. Grandmaster Cox and Deputy Sayles lead ceremonies amid toasts and morale-boosting speeches before dancing and local talent contributions.
