The Campbelltown Red Cross describes a Saturday street stall run by Mrs. A G Payten and Mrs. Lowe, raising £6 15s 6d. A dinner donated by Mrs. Payten was won by Miss Cairns of Warby Street. Ingleburn Aldermen Debate Post War Reconstruction Plan

At the May meeting the Ingleburn Aldermen discussed expanding water and electricity services and road improvements. Milk price rise sought by milk producers group

The General Secretary of the Country Milk Suppliers Association F Sedgwick reports a C M S A council meeting approved contacting the Milk Zone Dairymen's Council to press for an increase of at least fourpence per gallon to producers. The Milk Board may be approached to seek the rise. Other motions included duty free milk cheques, duty free exchanges, and periodic price checks on bran pollard chaff hay and a higher treatment charge for factories unable to operate on current rates.
