Mrs J C Wright and Miss W R Ohlson visited Campbelltown and spoke to church women at St Peter’s Rectory. A branch of the Ladies' Home Mission Union was formed with Mrs I D Armitage as president, and a series of local billiard fixtures and civic notes follow including council positions, lectures, and long-serving staff milestones.

Girls Mission Band Bazaar Raises Funds for Mission Fund
A successful children's bazaar by the Girls' Mission Band at the Manse realised £8 for the Church Foreign Mission Fund. The band previously aided the Newtown kindergarten and sent clothing parcels to Sydney. A loyalty demonstration is planned in Campbelltown Town Hall on Wednesday 8 June with Major General Sir Charles Rosenthal to speak and help form a King and Empire Alliance branch. A public meeting chaired by Alderman Hannaford follows on 9 June to recognize Mr 8. B. Day's twelve years of service.

The Empire Day essays were won by Miss Gladys Winton and Master William Howlett of Appin school. Each pupil earns a year’s free School of Arts subscription starting 1 July. Adjudicators were Rev I D Armitage F Sheather and R A Sidman. The annual meeting is set for 20 July at Congregational Hall with plans for a musical programme by B A Kitt and the Choral Society.
