Town residents urged to support Campbelltown’s 24th Annual Exhibition to be held Friday and Saturday March 13 14 with 430 prize classes and over £200 in non horse sections. Entries close March 9 with schedules available from Secretary W N Rudd. The article notes civic improvements around the Green and calls for public involvement beyond publicity.
Campbelltown Council held its usual fortnightly meeting on Tuesday evening with Aldermen Gamble Hannaford Ducat Lewis Bot tin Munro Dwyer Frost and Westbury present. Minutes of the prior meeting were adopted. Requests included a union picnic holiday on March 12 and making March 27 a public holiday for the Camden Show opening. Impoundings for January totaled 12 beasts. Dairy licenses were 63 applications with licenses recommended. Parks Committee proposed repairs to seats at £1 10s and two movable seats at £3, plus selling the old shelter shed to fund a bandstand centre garden project.
Monday sale at A E Baldock yards drew a large crowd as pigs, calves and cattle offered. Pigs gained value with top prices for porkers and slips. calves steady to higher. quality cattle achieved peak rates. Fats and milkers showed solid advances, stores weaker.

The Town Hall hosted a social for Campbelltown School of Arts aiding its general funds on Thursday the 20th. Despite light attendance due to weather, guests enjoyed fine music by Mrs. OConnell and Mr. Skeen, with Mr Barry entertaining. The committee led by Mr. James Kershler and presidents ensured a pleasant evening and prepared a late supper. The group plans another event soon to sustain the town institution.
