The marriage of Beryl Butt, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Butt of Leumeah, to Lyle Myers of Bathurst was held at the Methodist Church Campbelltown officiated by Rev H N Whiteman. The bride wore white satin with a shoulder length tulle veil. Bridesmaid Lula Butt wore pale blue a train bearer was Betty Merfield. About 40 guests attended a reception at Leumeah Progress Hall before a short honeymoon in Bathurst.
