Federal Elections ELECTION DAY and How to Mark Ballots
Polling is on Saturday December 19 with booths open 8 am to 6 pm. Voting is compulsory and penalties apply for nonattendance. Voters must use numerals not crosses and rank at least seven Senate candidates in order. House choices require a preference order for each candidate. Absentee voting and assistance for the visually impaired are available. Local polling places include Campbelltown Court House and several schools and residences.
