Campbelltown Municipal Council to call up men for Unemployment Relief Work at the Town Hall on Queen Street this morning at 11 o'clock. A thief entered the Minto Railway Station office during the night shift and stole just under £3 from the cash drawer. The Night Officer left the door open to attend a 6.20 p.m. ex Sydney train, allowing a stranger on the platform to enter. The incident highlights lax security as lone officers handle multiple duties and unauthorized gatherings occur at night.
Campbelltown Council meets to discuss train stop requests from Sydney on Saturdays, early morning train changes, and road signage at Cross Roads and Narellan. Aldermen contest board signs, protest proposed Main Roads fund diversion, and approve two dressings sheds with iron funding.
