Campbelltown selects P C Marlow as Mayor in 50 pound allowance vote
Aldermen met to fix the mayoral allowance at 50 pounds and elect a mayor after secret ballots. P C Marlow won five votes to four over J Westbury, with Arundel dissenting, and Devlin chosen as deputy mayor. The council also named sub committees for finance works town hall lighting building parks.
