Christmas Eve Services Fee and Parcel Dispatch Report

The business fee for the Services is due after noon as the last before the Xmas recess. Fifty parcels were packed and dispatched last Thursday to district overseas. The takings 4 to 210 and the doll dressed by Mrs Mathod are noted. The committee acknowledges a donation of £86 from the Theresa.

Menangle Red Cross Stall Aids War Fund

The Menangle Red Cross stall outside Curry's store raised £15 15s for the Prisoners of War Fund. Miss J Kingsley won a fowl donated by Miss Macarthur Onslow. Mr G Taber won a bag of flour from G Curry. Mrs EB Stanner won a Maltese lace handkerchief donated by Mrs Wilkingon.

Camden Red Cross Receives School and Community Donations

The Theresa Park Public School pupils donated 15 handy bags and 5 hot water bag covers while other groups such as Mr. Hunter Dance Committee and Theresa Park War Effort contributed cash and goods. The branch faces large requisitions for towels and socks and reports strong support from Orangeville Women’s War Effort and local members. Additional items sent to the Red Cross Store include shirts, tropical pyjamas, washers, pillow slips, surgical towels and undergarments.

Sunshine Fair Sale of Work at Campbelltown Town Hall

The Sunshine Fair at St. Peter's Church of England Campbelltown ran Friday to Saturday in the Town Hall. Decor featured artificial sunflowers and electric lighting. Rector Rev John F.
