Rain in Campbelltown totals 27 points on the 27th and 6 on the 28th November, the only rain this month. The Campbelltown Golf Social Club hosts a Christmas social next Friday at the club house. Flying foxes damage local fruit trees with one orchardist reporting over 200 shot last week. The Minto Footballers dance was well attended and financially successful. A revised Campbelltown Council loan advertises £25,000 instead of £35,000. A general meeting of Campbelltown School of Arts approved leasing with the local RSL branch, no further business. Christmas Tree and Dance in Town Hall on December 11 for District Ambulance funds, Santa arrives 6.30 pm. Ambulance also to hold a Town Hall dance on Christmas Eve. A Mrs Hayes sale of work on Lincoln Street, Minto, raised over £70 for Legacy. A School of Arts dance on November 23 contributed £7 11s to St David’s Presbyterian Sunday School funds for a Christmas party. Minas cake won by Mrs C Mason of Lilyfield.

The St Patrick s Convent Campbelltown organized a Juvenile Ball in the Town Hall last Tuesday evening. Children in varied costumes filled the hall, which was decorated with floral garlands streamers and colors. Mrs Roser prepared the decorations as both children and adults enjoyed the event.
