The Campbelltown Fire Brigade faced four calls last week. A grass fire near Mr. T Frost’s dairy. a blaze at Epping Forest Minto owned by Mr. C J Clark burning several acres. a large fire on Glenlee Estate threatening Love’s saw mill with local volunteers saving the mill and about 200 acres burned. another fire at Mr. C Johnston’s Appin Road property damaged a wooden wall and sedan.

Sunday School Concert at St Peter’s School Hall
St Peter'sSunday School children presented a concert in the School Hall on Thursday week 8th Inst. The event supported yearly funds of £6 for a China missionary and £1 for the Bible Society. Miss Ver non led the supervising teachers in a programme including hymns piano duets character songs and glee numbers performed by pupils and choir members.
