Euchre Party and Dance funds for The Bachelors stall
Misses Egerton organized a Euchre party and dance at the Macquarie Theatre to raise funds for stocking The Bachelors stall at the Church of England Fete. About sixty couples attended. Mrs E Hughes and Mr J Gardener won the Euchre prize. The event featured a Monte Carlo dance and ample supper, with O Frost’s Orchestra providing music and Miss Egalton assisting.
