Campbelltown Red Cross Holds Monthly Meeting
The Campbelltown Red Cross branch met in the Town Hall on Monday afternoon the 6th. President Mrs L Froggatt chaired with fair attendance. Members thanked Headquarters for stamps and clothing parcels, and Mr H S Reeve for becoming vice-president and a £2 2 donation. The treasurer reported £38 11 8 in credit. Speeches praised former President Mrs P Solomon and wished ill members Mrs Rider and Mrs Menzies a speedy recovery. Next street stall is planned for Saturday 4 September with President in charge aided by Mrs Marlow and Mrs H Longhurst. A tentative carnival date was discussed for Saturday 17th.
