A successful Ball at the Caltowie Memorial Hall on Tuesday August 28 benefited the Church of England Renovation Fund. Door takings totalled 30 pounds 15 shillings with 6 pounds 15 shillings in subscriptions. prizes awarded to Novelty Dances winners Mr and Mrs Howard Catford Miss Monica Travers and Mr Jack Travers. HE Robinson M C hosted dances with music by Mrs Stegall's orchestra.
