At a Jamestown meeting the Mayor, chair of the Cheer Up Club, announced a plan to loan £200 to the Commonwealth without interest and asked the Council to act as trustees. The Council unanimously approved the proposal and congratulated club members on their action.
On Monday the staff at James Town Railway Station met to bid farewell to Mr. Ross Fowler who has joined the ALP and is leaving to undertake training.
