Britain as Mistress of the Seas and World Freedom
The piece defends Britain's naval role in keeping the seas open for all, arguing the Pax Brittanica benefits global trade and liberty. It counters continental claims of tyranny, cites Michael Lewis on seafaring perspectives, and asserts Britain's altruistic yet self interested policy maintains sea freedom for commercial use and peaceful passage.
