District Council Crystal Brook meeting notes 1938
The Crystal Brook council held a September 1938 meeting with Drs W W Robinson P S O Shaughnessy J Lines T A Angley H B Heaslip and clerk P H Giles present. Enforcement covered road repairs on Inglis Hill back road Crouch’s Wandearah Merriton and cemetery hill works with 2500 pounds main roads budget plus 150 council subsidy and 500 for 50K road. Tenders for grading and forming roads were approved along with changes to taxation and bylaw reviews. Further items included lighting, vermin control, land transfers, road leases, and dipping of cattle with budgeted charges noted.
