Presentation to Mr and Mrs Keen at Gladstone Primary
A gathering at Gladstone Primary School convened to plan a threefold presentation to Mr and Mrs A Keen before their departure. Chairman G M Black led the meeting as townspeople agreed to donate for a sendoff from residents at the annual break-up. Keen retires from the Education Department after a long record of service.

Jamestown Swimming Club Opens 1936-37 Season
The Jamestown Amateur Swimming Club announces its official opening on December 5 1936 for the 1936 37 season with an inter club meet against Roseworthy Agricultural College at the Jamestown pool. The plan includes future inter club matches with Peterborough Georgetown and Port Pirie along with February carnivals and a visit by Victorian Diver Miss I Pennett on January 2 funded by Doug Skurray. A new punch ball frame near the pool adds to facilities as strong local talent is expected to raise competition.
