Local football results from Gladstone and surrounding towns

In a series of Saturday matches Gladstone defeated Crystal Brook by 12 points at Gladstone oval with a strong showing from Knapp Growden and Gloede and multiple scorers. Georgetown beat Wirrabara by 15 points in a competitive game. Jamestown edged Calteche after a tight, open contest with standout contributions from G MacCarthy and J Clarke. Washington Pool and Jamestown B played a fast practice game ahead of Association fixtures.
