James Town Golf Club Holds Annual Meeting
The James Town Golf Club met March 14 in the Institute Bank Room with President W Naismith in the chair. Dr B J Swann read the annual reports noting a sound balance sheet, 97 members, and a successful 1973 championship season with W Cherie winning the championship and J Hatter runner up in both club and overall events. Committees approved course alterations and a plan to join the LA Golf Union, with opening day set for April 14 and Open Championship on July 14.

The 1st Jamestown Troop held its annual Continental at the Methodist Church Ground on Tuesday March 13.
