Jamestown Bride Weds William Joyce in Floral Presbyterian Ceremony
Daphne Smith daughter of Mr and Mrs J Smith married William F Joyce youngest son of Mrs and the late Mr C M Joyce at the Presbyterian Church Jamestown March 4. Rev W G Johnstone officiated with organist Mrs S N Haskard. Guests included bridesmaids Jean Smith Margaret Carmichael and Lorna Knight. Wedding party wore green mauve lemon and pink with pink gladioli. After a reception 70 guests attended in the Institute Supper Room. Honeymoon in the Eastern States. The couple will reside in Jamestown.

Annual Appeal for Tubercular Soldiers' Aid Society March Fund Drive
The Lord Mayor grants permission for a sixpence token sale in city streets on Friday March 17 with suburban sales to follow. The appeal seeks council and public help to aid poorer TB ex-soldiers and to keep Angorichina Hostel available in the far North. gratitude is due to the Tubercular Soldiers' Association for 1938 assistance.
