Cost to spend £100 and lifetime liability discussed
A discussion notes that spending £100 costs £108 if paid with dowers and at least £ per year for life, arguing people often spend money that could earn 4 percent interest indefinitely. It questions why anyone would spend £100 knowingly risking future payments, yet acknowledges unconscious expenditure.
