Georgetown Races Celebrate Hat Trick for Typer at Cup Meet
The Georgetown Racing Club held its sixth annual meeting with a large northern attendance. J Lessue trained three winners including Typer in the Georgetown Cup, ridden by Fuller, as crowds cheered the trio achieving a hat trick. The program featured hurdles, flying handicap won by White Belle, and a dramatic Jumpers' Plate won by Fighting Mac. Totalizator handled £1,117 with gate takings near £67, and officials praised the club’s organization and track condition.
