Georgetown Coursing Meet Highlights Local News
A long running coursing meeting at Georgetown produced tighter fields with many winners. Results show Bennis Louise beating Lionaleen in the first round while Enterprise Lass defeated Condona in the same round. The day featured a public auction of trophies, Red Cross fundraisers, and War Savings efforts with local pupils purchasing certificates. The season remains drought affected with intermittent wheat sowing and rising stock feed activity.
