On Wednesday July 9 at 1 30 there will be an auction of 200 fat to prime ewes 100 fat wethers 100 fat ewes 26 fat lambs 50 fat ewes 50 fat ewe and 25 fat wethers sourced direct from North East Fat animals offered from trucks in a single sale with above terms.
Notice announces expiring registrations on June 10 1920 and new registrations from July 1 to July 31 with fees six shillings for a dog and seven shillings four pence for a female. After July 14 searches will occur district wide for unregistered dogs and the Registrar will conduct registrations at his office in Glartstone.
Town of Gladstone issues amended dog registration under Act No 320 1884. Registration runs from July 1 to July 14 with fees five shillings for dogs and seven sixpence for a lot. Police registrar and other officers will conduct registrations at the office of C Budge in Gladstone.

Details include Holy Communion Morning and Evening prayers with times, sermons titles The Importunate Widow and John the Apostle of Brotherhood, baptist and presbyterian services, Salvation Army activities, and social announcements.

A farewell social and dance was held in the memorial hall on July 2 to honor Mr R L Rees long service at the Bank of Adelaide and his transfer to Swan Reach. Two 24 year old men rode a new motorcycle when Wishevske lost control near Ayr street. The bike hit a telegraph pole as Glasson, pillion rider, was ejected. Wishevske died soon after. Glasson was hospitalized in critical condition with a skull fracture. Coroner deemed no inquest. Funeral held for Wishevske with large cortege.
The Gladstone Bridge Club reports a busy session with multiple pairs and teams competing. Results feature Mrs Marriott and Mrs Harslett losing 138 down to Mrs Campbell and Mrs Carthew, while Carthew and Marriott beat Lee and Farmer 292 Up, and many other matches with broad turnout across seven tables and eight teams listed for future season play.
Gladstone Council met on Wednesday June 25 1930 with Mayor J W Me Namee and Drs A Coe A Lee H C Bennett R Pannell A M Fling and Clerk C Budge present. Apology from Dr Dickson. Reports read including Surveyor Bennett on work by Jenkins at Texas Company Depot. Council expressed sympathy to Mrs A B Blesing on death of her husband A D Blexing. Accounts £37 1/2 paid. Debates on sanitary cart footpath High Street and Texas Cay’s Dept road assigned to Public Works. Mr Hr A Conder appointed gravedigger. Local Board of Health later met. Lines complaint to nightman noted and Health Officer to report next meeting. Secretary to write to Central Board of Health regarding second lavatories.
The second of two social evenings by the Gladstone Social and Dance Club was held on June 19 with many members and friends in attendance. Rothrsheim's Port Pirie Orchestra provided music, decorations and supper were arranged by Mrs. 4. T. Harslett and Miss D. Pinch, and the supper room featured pink shades and peach blossoms. The evening ended around 1 o'clock, with Mr. F. C. Spotzwood efficiently handling secretarial duties.
