Gladstone Agricultural Bureau Holds First Post Harvest Meeting
The Gladstone Branch of the Agricultural Bureau held its first meeting after harvest at Memorial Hall with president F E Chick and guests Hon A P Blesing MLC and R D Nicholls MP. Discussions covered conference plans, seed sowing methods, and seed varieties for May to June sowing. Members debated dry pickling and fallow depth while chairmen announced arrangements for the conference, croquet club refreshments, and prizes. A tomato plant showing partial disease was sent to Adelaide for study.

All Australian Exhibition Opens in Adelaide March 21
The All Australian Exhibition in Adelaide opens March 21 and runs to May 17, eight weeks. Organised by the South Australian Chamber of Manufactures it promises to be bigger and brighter than 1926 with acres of displays. Admission is 1 shilling for adults and 6 pence for children. school parties pay 1 d per child. Country visitors are urged to attend to see this unique display.

Preferential Voting Introduced in State Elections
State Parliament passed two bills establishing a uniform preferential voting system with numbers for all elections.
